Dragon Age not working

I will be playing for an hour or so then arbitrarily once I go to open the inventory page the video game will hang for half an extra and then exit towards the desktop with a pop-up saying "Dragon Age Origins has actually ended Operating"

I quickly begin it up again and it is fine until it chooses it wants to crash again.

Any recommendations or suggestions about how-to fix this?
